The FJ-slim nail is similar in design as the FJ nail with the only difference being an extra slim and extra long blade . The FJ blade is designed for thinner and lightweight shoes, the extra slim blade is especially for those horses with a poor hoof wall condition where the farrier wants to reduce hoof wall displacement to a maximum. Furthermore, provides the extra length the possibility to nail higher in the hoof. High nailing may prevent hoof wall damage in case the horse steps out of its shoe.
